Our Charitable Commitment

Janine’s work with charities exemplifies her genuine passion for people. Her mindset is to support and devote time to local charities wherever she can.

St. James's Place Charitable Foundation

Janine is passionate about the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation. She has supported the charity for 21 years and continues to be an integral part of the committee. The Foundation has reached the milestone of £111 million raised through fundraising and corporate matching. It supports local and national charities that focus on children, young adults, hospices and mental health.

Alex’s Wish

Janine has been a significant long-term supporter of Alex’s Wish, a local charity dedicated to conquering Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Janine is a valued and supportive trustee of Alex’s Wish. She works with the Board of Trustees to ensure that Alex’s Wish continues to grow and prosper as a thriving charity within the East Midlands.

On Friday 6th October 2023, we attended Alex’s Wish’s Autumn lunch.

We were pleased to participate in Alex’s Wish supercar event at Whatton House on Sunday, June 11th, 2023.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to support the charity ‘Alex’s Wish’ for boys with Duchenne and host an event alongside Sara Lovatt of ‘Bad Art’ on Wednesday 9th October 2019.

On Thursday 16th April we had our regular Alex’s Wish trustee meeting.

The High Sheriff Fundraiser at Leicester Cathedral.

We were delighted to host our event in aid of Alex’s Wish on Friday 28th September 2018 with the evening being held at the exclusive Lumbers Jewellers in Leicester.

The Foundation is the charitable arm of the St. James's Place Group.
